CONNECTING IDAHO PARTNERS (CIP) is a joint venture of URS-Washington Division and CH2M HILL dedicated to delivering the Idaho Transportation Department's GARVEE Transportation Program. CIP combines the strengths of two of the nation's largest program management, design and construction companies — URS-Washington Division, a leading international engineering, construction, and management-solutions company; and CH2M HILL, a global, full-service engineering, construction, and operations firm. Together, the firms that form CIP have successfully managed and delivered over 100 transportation projects right here in Idaho, as well as large and innovative transportation programs across the United States.

CIP’s goal for the GARVEE program is to safely build more miles of highway in less time and for less money than those same highway miles could be built using traditional design-bid-build approaches. To achieve that goal, our program objectives focus on accelerating project schedules, creating new opportunities for local and state firms, and streamlining design and construction with innovative management tools and systems. Partnered with Idaho Transportation Department, we’re paving the way to Idaho’s future.
